  1. looking good jack! the music helps loads though, the shot of the seagulls is especially effective. the slower sounds without a beat complements the slow motion. also, the baby's face in the wall. really get a spooky feel to it.

  2. It definitely gives that freakish sort of feeling to the scene. I maybe think you dwelled on the seagulls a bit too long for me but it definitely made me want to see more of it.

  3. i thought that it was marrrrrrvelous.i thought that there was a lot of tension created between the music and the shots because the spooky sensed soundtrack went really well with the lonely and distant filming. I thought it worked really well and how you applied a slow motion shot to where the birds flew away expressed curiosity and mysteriousness very well. I think once it has all been finished off its will be able to achieve a high grade :) 10/10 ... well done :D

  4. The music works perfectly and accommodates the footage very well. It gives a very eery and creepy feel to the film opening and works to provide the right genre you were looking for. It already fits quite well in time, and the bleakness of the shots reflect the music perfectly.
I would extend the the last shot of the face to give more of a dramatic impact, and have the footage of the seagulls at normal time.
    Good effort though Savlon!

  5. I think that the music to go with the piece creates a really eerie atmosphere which feels totally deserted. This makes me intrigued to find out whats going on. I really like the use of just single drawn out notes and think thats effective, especially the part where the seagulls flew off one by one.

  6. SPOOOKKYYYY! and the suspicious ambience encouraged the fear of the opening. The eerie music helped to aid the man and the scenery

  7. I think that the music works well with the whole effect of you opening it helps to create the image you are going for, and fits in well with your mise en scene. it makes you want to carry on watching by drawing you into it with all of it working well together and creates a really sense of mystery. :)

  8. I really like the slow moving shots that track along with the slow moving images. I also think that the dark feel to the music matches the genre and the mise en scene of the film. It adds tension to the piece and makes the character seem all the more mysterious.

There is only one thing that I would change, and that is the font of the film title. I don't really think it fits. However I don't know enough about the rest of your film idea to overly comment.

Apart from that, great work! :D

  9. The music illustrates the desolate, bleak surroundings in the shot. It also heavily reinforces the horror genre of the piece creating a sense of worry and intelligent scheming behind the lead characters basic appearance. Liked it (Y)
