i might try and finish my 2 minutes with the character presented with a choice, maybe of two doors.
I watched the shining the other day, it started with beautiful shots of a journey through an isolated and harsh envinronment. The film used fading in the initial shots. I think this is a good sign that my film is relativley similar in opening, as The Shining is one of the best horrors I've seen, so recreating something similar without even having seen it shows I'm on the right tracks. The Wickerman another of my favourite horros starts in this way also.
